Director Joe Reynolds Joe is a retired State Trooper with the Utah Highway Patrol. During his 20 years with the UHP, Joe worked with teens on numerous levels in the metropolitan and rural areas he worked in. Joe is nearing the completion of a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Computer Information Systems. Joe is a certified instructor in Arrest Control Tactics (Aikido-based) for the State of Utah Department of Public Safety. Joe is a certified emergency medical technician and has worked part-time transporting teens for Aspen Ranch, Aspen Achievement, and Alternative Youth Adventures in Loa, Utah. |

Agent Brian Nielson Brian is currently employed by the Utah State Courts as a Probation Officer, and works with offenders under the age of 18. Brian graduated from Utah State University in 1997 with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology which is career specific for Juvenile Probation. Brian is a professional Rodeo Clown/ Bull Fighter (American rodeo bull fighting, not Spanish). Brian grew up on a working cattle ranch which his family has owned and operated for nearly 150 years. Brian has a very keen understanding of the problems facing todays teens. |

Agent Ben Rowley Ben is currently employed full-time as an Adult Probation and Parole Agent. He has 4 years experience in law enforcement as both an Agent and a Correctional Officer in the prison system. He also works on a part-time basis with the Brian Head Marshals Office and volunteers time with the local Drug Task Force. Ben is certified in ACT (Arrest Control Tactics), CPR and First-Aid. Ben entered the law enforcement field at the age of 21, thus his young age gives him a relatively unique perspective in relation to dealing with todays youth. |

Agent Ranon Hulet Ranon has been employed with the Utah Department of Corrections for 9 years. She graduated from Southern Utah University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology/Botany with a background in Secondary Education. Ranon has been trained in the use of ACT (Arrest Control Tactics), as well as certified in CPR and First-Aid. She enjoys spending her time raising her two children and participating in outdoor activities. |

Agent Richard Bauer Richard is currently employed full-time as an Adult Probation and Parole Agent. He has 13 years experience in law enforcement as both an Agent and a Correctional Officer in the Iron County Jail. He also works on a part-time basis with the Brian Head Marshals Office and volunteers time with the local Drug Task Force. He has also been a bus driver with the local school district for the past 15 years, bussing school students in grades K-12. Richard is certified in ACT (Arrest Control Tactics), CPR and First-Aid. Richard relates well to todays youth and has been a positive influence in many of their lives. |

Agent Kelly Anderson Kelly currently works for the Department of Youth Corrections for the last 10 years in the Central Utah Detention Center. He currently supervises a work crew of juveniles that work on projects in the community and surrounding areas. He does the transporting of youth from facility to other placement centers through out the state, and also is a positive control instructor for the Division of Youth Corrections. Kelly is currently working on his degree in criminal justice. |

Agent Allen Julian Allen is currently employed full time as an Adult Probation and Parole Agent with the Utah Department of Corrections. He has 9 years experience in Law Enforcement as both an agent and correctional officer. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology, with an added sport psychology emphases . He worked as the Clinical Director for Intermountain Specialized Abuse Treatment Center (ISAT) for five years. While at ISAT he provided individual and group therapy to victims and perpetrators of abuse. He worked with one of the largest private provider sex offender programs (ISAT) in the Department of Corrections prison system as a supervisor treating convicted felons. He worked four years as a staff therapist for a Residential Treatment Center for troubled adolescents. He is certified in ACT (Arrest Control Tactics), CPR, and First Aid. He enjoys running marathons and has raced in over 20 marathons. |

Trina Dickinson Trina is presently employed with the Department of Youth Corrections in the Central Utah Detention Center. She works with both male and female juveniles ages 10-18 in a structured unit. Tina has also taken courses in counseling with troubled youth and also has been trained in physical defense for the safety of the youth and herself. She takes her job very serious when it comes to helping troubled youth. |

Shalon Stapely Shalon is currently employed full-time as a Corporal at the Iron County Correctional Facility. She has over three years experience as a correctional officer. Shalon graduated from Southern Utah University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Shalon is certified in ACT (arrest control tactics), CPR, and First Aid. Shalon enjoys hunting, fishing and running. Entering the Law Enforcement field at age 21 gives Shalon a unique approach when dealing with today's youth. |

John Ellis John is a Police Officer with thirty four years experience. John is currently employed by the Utah Department of Public Safety. Prior to that John was with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department in southern California. John has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. John has had many hours of instruction and training in Juvenile Law and Procedures. John has worked with Juveniles on various levels in the States of California and Utah. |

Aubrey Thompson Aubrey is a native of Utah and is currently working at Aspen Ranch in Loa, UT. Aubrey came to the Ranch with experience in Early Childhood Education and Child Development. Her background with adolescents comes from a TAPP program in Arizona where she worked with teenage mothers. Aubrey worked with these youth teaching them life skills and helped them gain an education and accountability. She is a certified Parent Trainer and Positive Control System Instructor. Aubrey is a wife, mother of 3 children and enjoys camping, fishing, horseback riding in the outdoors in her spare time. |

Michael Thompson Michael is currently employed by Aspen Ranch in Loa, UT. Mike has several different backgrounds and most recently has been an EMT-Fire Fighter and a Wildland Firefighter. Mike enjoys building relationships with the students and helps them learn responsibility and a good work ethic. Mike worked with the students in Round Up for 4 years where he supervised the student‘s projects and oversaw the staff. Currently, Mike works in the Maintenance Department. Mike‘s hobbies include Duck Hunting, Fishing, Horseback Riding and spending time in the beautiful Utah mountains with his wife and three children. |

Heather Anderson Heather is currently working as a Team Leader at a Residential Treatment Center for troubled adolescents. She has worked with youth of all ages in many different settings over the last 14 years. Heather is certified in PCS (positive Control Systems) First Aid, and CPR. Her greatest passions in life are her husband and three children. She enjoys hunting, fishing, ATV riding.
